Welcome to AIS
African Immigrant Services (AIS), a 501 (C) (3) community-based non-profit organization, works to create new possibilities and opportunities through civic engagement and creative access to resources.
AIS is a culturally creative effort by African immigrants and refugees to build social capital through a more informed and increased civic participation. It is also established to close the resource information gaps and to eliminate the access disparities that disproportionately affect the capacities of historically disadvantaged communities of color to achieve self-sufficiency.
AIS is all about civic engagement and creative access to opportunities, and the impactful outcomes they produce for the African immigrant community.
AIS is determined to help unleash the untapped leadership assets of the African immigrant community, to overcome systemic and cultural barriers.
